Delete your Nidly account
Nidly is a family organizer for iPhone and Android. You can delete your account and its data at any time — from inside the app, or by emailing us.
Option 1 — delete it in the app
- Open Nidly and go to the Agenda tab.
- Tap the person icon in the top-right corner to open your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
If you can't sign in, email nidlyapp@gmail.com from the address you used to sign up, with "Delete my account" as the subject.
We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account and the email address attached to it.
- Your Nidly profile and your family-member record, including your name and photo.
- Your notification tokens, and any Kroger account you connected.
- If you are the last member of your household: everything that household owned — calendar events, tasks, meals, recipes and recipe photos, grocery lists and items, rewards and reward photos, coin history, saved aisle preferences, and its join code.
What stays, and why
If other people are still in your household, the family's shared content stays with them — it is their data too, and removing it would delete their calendar. Your profile, your member record and your photo are removed either way. Shared records that name you, such as coin history, remain with the household.
To take your household's content with you instead, remove the other members first, or ask them to leave, and then delete your account as the last member.
Anonymous app-usage statistics collected by our analytics provider, PostHog, stop being linked to your Nidly account once it is deleted, and expire on PostHog's own retention schedule. Nidly does not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long it takes
Deleting from inside the app takes effect immediately. Email requests are handled within 30 days. Operational backups holding deleted records age out within 30 days of the deletion.
